Company CROZ also implemented projects in Great Britain. One employee participated on application development project for insurance policy overview on WebSphere Portal in Scotland. The client on this project was an international insurance and investment company, one of the largest in its market segment in Great Britain. Its IT sector employs 400 people, and its business is based on SOA architecture. In accordance with client’s needs, a catalogue application was created, consisting of only several screens offering sufficient amount of data.
Other CROZ’s employee participated on a project in York in England at a multinational insurance company. The company is specific because it mostly uses outsourcing of IT, which is usually a very risky approach, but in this case represents a very rational and economic solution. Considering the fact that geographically dislocated teams are more the rule than an exception, almost entire IT business operations are done by using IBM technologies and tools. The goal of the project was to open new channels for selling insurance policies through partner distributers and representatives. The key factors for the project’s success were openness to new technologies and practice of agile development and Scrum methodology.
Another CROZ employee participated on the project for one of the largest banks in the world, located in London. The subject of the project was improvement of the development process and Rational Team Concert, and the goal of the project was increasing visibility of processes, plans and tasks within processes for all in the team. The team on the project was international and geographically dislocated.
