Atlantic Grupa is one of the leading food companies in the region with renowned regional brands in coffee, beverages, savory spreads and snacks which are, alongside the product range of external partners, supported by own distribution system in the region. Atlantic Grupa’s products are highly represented in Russia, the CIS and Western European countries. Atlantic Grupa employs approximately 5300 people in eight countries. Company is also the leading distributor of fast moving consumer goods in the region of South Eastern Europe, with 17 distribution centers in these markets, over a thousand vehicles and direct access to over 70 thousand sales points, and highly developed know how in key account management, category management, logistics and trade marketing.

Given that Atlantic Grupa is a conglomerate that continually acquires new companies, each using a different approach (methodology) to store, analyze and report on data, the need arose to make all of these as uniformed as possible. This is where CROZ came in. CROZ helped with the analysis of different transactional source systems, development of ETL processes and data warehouse and implementation of multiple data marts (storage warehouse activities, salesmen activities, distribution activities and so on) converging in a single data warehouse. Later this data was made available for end users to create detailed reports for day to day operations, as well as monthly and annual reports.

Using IBM InfoSphere DataStage it was possible to create processes for gathering source data, cleaning the data and storing the data in an agreed upon structure, a structure that would later be used for viewing the data through user defined and user made reports in IBM Cognos BI platform.

IBM InfoSphere DataStage supports the collection, transformation and distribution of large volumes of data, with data structures that range from simple to highly complex.

IBM Cognos BI is an integrated business intelligence suite that provides a wide range of functionality to help organizations understand their data and make informed decisions in everyday business.
