MKB Bank - Implementing DevOps

For the project of replacing the core banking system, MKB Bank has hired Hungary’s Inter-Computer Group as the developer which then ensured all software necessary for the user, while CROZ’s job included implementation services and configuring the solution according to the users’ needs.

For the needs of MKB Bank, CROZ has successfully installed and configured IBM UrbanCode Deploy software, which is a part of IBM’s DevOps portfolio. The result of implementing DevOps, which represents the synergy between Development and Operations, has yielded impressive results – 30 times faster deploy, 200 times less time required from commit to production, 60 times less development problems…

Testing is of utmost importance in the process of implementing software – which is why the Rational Integration Tester tool was used. It serves for testing all kinds of integrations within complex environments – and since this project is about replacing the core banking system, the number of integrations is really high.

CROZ has successfully implemented 9 test cases of different complexity levels according to the user’s request and offered consulting services for using the software. And so, the user received a powerful tool for all current and future integration tests, which is a good foundation for further replacements of the core banking system.
