A Meaningful Reunion

This year, CROZ once again joined forces with ArrivalAid for our corporate volunteering initiative – and we couldn’t be happier. After last year’s heartwarming experience, choosing ArrivalAid again was a no-brainer. The encounters with their dedicated team and the refugees left a lasting impression. With no urgent task at hand this time, we spontaneously decided on a cooking afternoon. A simple idea that turned into a flavorful success.

A Culinary Journey Around the World

What unfolded was an afternoon rich in taste, laughter, and sociability. Our guests brought recipes from their homelands and we brought the ingredients. On the menu were Ugandan Rolex, spicy Pakoras, and hearty Borscht. This activity transformed our kitchen into a charming chaos but quickly turned into a global celebration of flavors. Together we chopped, fried, and stirred – discovering not only new dishes but the stories behind them. The kitchen became a space of curiosity, exchange, and shared joy.

Save the Best for Last

By the end of the day everyone was looking forward to the well-deserved delicious food of which we had more than enough. We talked, we ate, and we left with new (culinary) inspiration. For CROZ, this initiative is not just an ESG related effort – it’s a living expression of our values. We’re already looking forward to the next activity with our friends at ArrivalAid.”
