Inclusive Farm – A Place We Keep Coming Back To

Some places just stick with you. Not because they’re flashy or perfect, but because of the people, the energy, and the feeling that what you’re doing actually matters.

That’s what the Inclusive Farm in Petrinja is for us at CROZ.
We’ve been here before — helping out where we can, learning from the people who make this place special, and getting our hands dirty in the best possible way. And this year, we came back again.

Growing More Than Just Vegetables

The Inclusive Farm is run by the Association of People with Disabilities of Sisak-Moslavina County. It’s not just a farm – it’s a space where people with disabilities can build skills, confidence, and community through practical, hands-on work like gardening, cooking, and crafting.

Since 2020, this project has grown into something truly meaningful – for its users, their families, and for everyone who spends time here. Over 300 workshops have been held so far, supported by a dedicated team of professionals, volunteers, and high school students. It’s a place where real inclusion happens – not in theory, but in practice, every single day.

This Year’s Visit

Every visit brings something new, but the heart of the farm stays the same. You can read about one of our earlier visits here.
This time, our CROZ volunteers helped clean up the space, pulled weeds, built new composters, and refreshed three raised garden beds. Nothing fancy – just honest work with real impact, shared with people who care.
It’s not about doing something big. It’s about showing up. Contributing in small ways that add up. And being reminded, again and again, that places like this exist because someone chooses to keep them alive.
We’re proud to be part of that – even just a little. And we’ll keep coming back.

The Bigger Picture

The Inclusive Farm isn’t just a project. It’s a community. A place where people with disabilities, their families, and the wider public come together to learn, support each other, and grow in more ways than one.
We believe that real inclusion takes consistency, presence, and heart. And that’s why this isn’t a one-time thing for us.
