CROZ – ISTQB Silver Partner and authorized Training provider for the new Foundation Level Syllabus

As a regional leader in Agile and DevOps transformation and an authorised provider for ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) trainings and certification, CROZ announces becoming ISTQB Silver Partner. CROZ provides new 2018 Foundation Level Syllabus – educating testers for various software delivery practices including Waterfall, Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

ISTQB provides trainings and certifications for testers to better understand testing in general and become familiar with standardised approaches, methodologies and glossary, teaches them required skills and prepares them for incoming challenges like transformation from traditional testing to modern approaches like Agile and DevOps.

ISTQB is suitable for anyone who needs to demonstrate practical knowledge of the fundamental concepts of software and system testing including people in roles such as testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers and software developers.

CROZ partnered with ISTQB not only to improve its consulting approaches but also to improve our own internal processes and quality assurance approaches. Agile and DevOps principles require testers as an integral part of a whole-team approach, together with developers, operations and business representatives. There is still  a lot of confusion concerning new testers’ roles and skills which ISTQB recognized and extended foundation level with the new syllabus.

The new 2018 Foundation Level syllabus is relevant across software delivery practices including Waterfall, Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

To be able to understand the values and benefits of Agile and DevOps principles and to be ready for transformation testers should first understand all traditional approaches to testing, with all their advantages and disadvantages – exactly what the new syllabus offers. Foundation level then branches in several advanced levels, depending on professional preferences, but from now one of the new branches is agile testing.

ISTQB extended Foundation Level with the Agile Tester certificate to give an opportunity to testers to learn how to be part of agile testing teams and achieve high performance.
Testers will soon be able to get  Advanced Level – Agile Technical Tester certificate for continuous testing as an integrated part of Agile and DevOps practices whit respect to ISTQB principles to test faster, improve communication, establish repeatable standards and build continuous quality.
