Overview

At QED 2014 participants will have the opportunity to learn about the effective use of Kanban in portfolio management by our Mihael Sedmak.

It is already a tradition that at each QED conference CROZ employees hold some workshops. This year, participants will have the opportunity to learn something about “Lean in practice – portfolio management by using Kanban”. The workshop will be held by CROZ’s experienced software architect and project manager Mihael Sedmak.

Lean in practice – Portfolio management by using Kanban

Managing projects’ or products’ portfolio in an increasingly dynamic business/IT environment is becoming a daunting task. By using Kanban, one of the cornerstones of Lean, managing a portfolio can become much simpler for Project Management Office (PMO) daily work.

At the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to hear about the effective use of Kanban in portfolio management. Moreover, they will find out potential approaches to align their existing practices with Kanban, the primary portfolio management method. The workshop will also talk about situations in which Kanban can help companies to increase the efficiency of Project Management Office.
