Round table “Girls in the Croatian ICT sector – both sides of the medal”

Overview

As a whole, the event is intended to change perceptions and promote the importance of equal participation of women in the ICT sector.

The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), with their partners in the project, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) and Ericsson Nikola Tesla, have organized a round table on the topic of “Girls in the Croatian ICT sector – both sides of the medal” as part of the International Girls in ICT Day.

The round table will be held in the Silver Hall at FER, on April 22nd 2015 at 12:00 o’clock. One of the guests at the round table will be Vedrana Miholić, Sales Director at CROZ, who will conduct an introductory presentation, “Women in the business world – rise to the challenge!”

As a whole, the event is intended to change perceptions and promote the importance of equal participation of women in the ICT sector, as well as to stimulate activism in order to popularize the idea of employing more women in this driving sector of the Croatian economy.
