Terraform Consulting for The Big Tech Company

We chose the Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) solution to help the Client speed up the creation of infrastucture components, decrease the costs and reduce the error rates.

Client

Our client is one of the Big Tech companies that provides a variety of world-leading platforms in the field of social media, social networks and instant messaging.

Challenge

The Client needed to speed up the creation of various infrastructure components in the AWS cloud. But, of course, speed wasn’t the only requirement. They also needed to decrease the costs and reduce error rates simultaneously. Additionally, they wanted to track the different versions (and changes) of the infrastructure.

Solution

Given the challenges mentioned, the Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) solution was the obvious choice. Terraform was chosen as an IaC tool that can help address those challenges.

The educational workshop held by CROZ employees enabled the Client’s personnel to start using Terraform as their IaC tool. Thanks to the workshop the staff gained all the necessary knowledge to jump-start the use of Terraform for providing consistent CLI workflow to manage their cloud services.
