Vid Romac is a proactive Senior Software Development Engineer and Software Architect. During his career, he worked on numerous projects and held various roles - both technical and organizational. He worked on projects at various levels: from design and development, task write-up, code review, team lead to development and deployment process setup and automation. He helped in explorations of large legacy systems, documenting the landscape to deliver a document containing both birds-eye and a detailed view of an enterprise system, that was then used for prototyping and developing a modern variant to replace/extend the legacy one. On other projects, he laid the architectural design foundations for a new complex system, wrote and distributed work tasks, oversaw and reviewed the completed tasks, setup the development and deployed processes, and did the delivery and presentation to the users. VR has experience in working with large international teams in remote locations, assisting either on-site with product development, or consulting and education.
