Investing in Our Employees’ Future: We Win the German Equal Pension Award

20. 10. 2026

A good company pension scheme is more than just an employee benefit – it is a contribution to our employees’ long-term financial security. In recognition of our best practices in occupational pension provision, we have been awarded the German Equal Pension Award.

On 13 October 2026, we received this special distinction at the German Equal Pension Symposium in Berlin. It was a great opportunity to highlight our commitment to forward-looking occupational pension provision and the long-term financial security of our employees.

Responsibility That Goes Beyond Everyday Working Life

Occupational pension provision complements the statutory pension and is an important building block for financial security in retirement. It demonstrates that, as an employer, we look beyond the present and consider our employees’ future as well.

The German Equal Pension Award is a special recognition of our commitment. It is not just about offering an occupational pension scheme, but also about ensuring that employees are aware of this opportunity, can make use of it and keep their retirement provision in mind over the long term.

Retirement Provision from Day One – and Beyond

That is why occupational pension provision is an integral part of our onboarding process. A consultation on the occupational pension scheme is mandatory for all new employees and must be completed before the onboarding process can be finalised. This ensures that all new colleagues are informed about their options at an early stage.

Cordula Vis-Paulus is available as the point of contact for questions and individual consultations. This gives our employees a dedicated contact person for all matters relating to retirement provision from the very beginning.

However, our commitment does not end when employees join the company. Special stages of life, such as parental leave, can also affect retirement provision. It is therefore important to consider the long-term consequences of any interruptions to pension contributions. Occupational pension provision also deserves attention when employees leave the company, so that they can explore the options available for continuing their pension arrangements.

A Benefit That Makes a Difference in the Long Term

The German Equal Pension Award sets important benchmarks for effective occupational pension provision. These include high employee participation, consideration of retirement provision during parental leave and a responsible approach to occupational pensions when employees leave a company.

This approach reflects our ambition to offer not only interesting responsibilities and development opportunities, but also working conditions and benefits that provide long-term value. An attractive occupational pension scheme is an important part of that commitment.

We are proud of this recognition and see it as motivation to continue our efforts and actively contribute to our employees’ future financial security.

Because a good employer thinks not only about today, but also about tomorrow.

A small note on terminology: I have used occupational pension provision and occupational pension scheme because they are natural terms in a European business context. If your company website uses British English throughout, this version is a good fit. For a more international audience, we could also use company pension scheme consistently.
