A Partnership That Goes Further Than a Contract
CROZ has been supporting UNUO as their Platinum Partner for some time now. UNUO trains people with disabilities through CUPI’S SPOON, a program where participants develop real kitchen skills through structured, hands-on work in professional conditions. The program has already run across Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a grand finale coming to Zagreb. UNUO has been working for years to create real opportunities for people with disabilities, not just symbolic ones. Their work focuses on practical skill development, public visibility, and breaking down the assumption that disability limits professional potential.
When the UNUO team came to cook at our office, we finally got to see the program in action firsthand.
Skills Earned, Not Given
The team arrived prepared. No warm-up needed. They got straight to work and the result was a proper meal, put together by people who have spent months earning that confidence.
For everyone at CROZ who was there, it was a good afternoon and a clear demonstration of what the CUPI’S SPOON model actually produces.
What Comes Next
From June 1 to July 22, five people with disabilities and four specialists from UNUO travel to the United States during the 2026 World Cup, where they will run workshops at Capuchin College in Washington DC and carry out humanitarian activities, representing Croatia on an international stage. The initiative has also received encouraging support from Croatian football circles, including head coach Zlatko Dalić, and CROZ is glad to be part of the journey that brought them here.
