Overview
CROZ and HDLU’s partnership continues with the presentation of the 12th edition of the Facade Gallery. This year, the theme is Compassion, and the selected artwork was created by Olivera Cavrić, a renowned Croatian artist.

Since 2018, the Facade Gallery has been a platform for local artists to showcase their work, transforming the CROZ building into an exhibition space. The gallery aims to replace commercial visuals with artistic expressions that encourage social responsibility and enrich the urban landscape.
This year’s Compassion artwork by Olivera Cavrić explores the essence of empathy and human connection. The piece captures the emotional depth of shared experiences and highlights the importance of compassion in modern society. The large-scale artwork, measuring 12 x 4.8 meters, was displayed on the facade of the CROZ building in Zagreb from June to December 2023, and was visible to thousands of commuters at the busy intersection of Slavonska Avenue and Marin Držić Avenue.
