In its seventh iteration, the CROZ Facade Gallery once again bridges the gap between technology, humanity, and art – this time through the evocative work of Darija Jelinčić, titled “Hand (Ruka)”.
The monumental photograph depicts a robotic arm delicately holding a bouquet of white tulips – a powerful image that juxtaposes mechanical precision with organic fragility.
Jelinčić’s composition captures a moment of tenderness within the framework of artificiality, prompting viewers to question where emotion ends and automation begins.
Through its serene palette and minimalist symbolism, Hand explores themes of connection, empathy, and coexistence between the natural and the engineered. It suggests that even in an age of machines, gestures of care and beauty remain profoundly human.
The artwork resonates deeply within the Facade Gallery’s mission – to use public space as a platform for dialogue about progress, identity, and the shared future of people and technology.
