Maja Bachler: Rift of Clouds (Prolom oblaka)
The CROZ Facade Gallery continued its mission to blend creativity, reflection, and technology with the second edition, showcasing Maja Bachler’s imaginative work “Rift of Clouds (Prolom oblaka)”.
Bachler’s mural depicts a surreal sky-blue scene where a dense collage of photographs and digital fragments rises from the ground, while two red hands stretch upward toward a cloud bursting with symbols, data, and imagery.
The composition suggests a meeting point between the physical and the digital – the human desire to reach beyond the surface of information and connect with meaning.
Rift of Clouds visualizes the flood of images and data that define the modern age. Yet within that digital storm, Bachler reveals a sense of optimism: the act of reaching upward, of seeking clarity and purpose, remains an inherently human gesture.
The work resonates deeply with the Facade Gallery’s concept – turning the urban façade into a reflective surface for questions about identity, technology, and our shared visual culture.
