Our first Programming Workshop for kids finished

07. 09. 2012
Overview

At the first programming workshop for children, kids learned how to make their own interactive stories, animations, games and music using the MIT Scratch tool.

During the Spring holidays, we held our first programming workshop for children at our Learn@CROZ education center.

A total of 23 children between the ages of 6,5 and 12 participated who were split into two groups. Under the guidance of our instructors, the children had a chance to learn how to make their own interactive stories, animations, games and music using the MIT Scratch tool which was created at the well renown American University MIT. The goal of the workshop was to introduce programming to children as an exciting, creative and challenging activity.

Given the great turn-out and the outstanding feedback from the children, their parents, and our instructors, we are already looking forward to organizing our next workshop.
