IBM’s z/OS Connect is a perfect way to connect mainframe to fast growing API economy by providing a RESTful interface to users that communicate through JSON messages and in such way offer lightweight services from the mainframe, rather than tie a solution to an existing subsystem on z/OS. z/OS Connect simplifies and makes the environment more consistent and manageable.

The good news is that it really isn’t hard to bridge the knowledge gap and create APIs on the IBM Z.

The course is based on “Blended Learning” concept developed by European Mainframe Academy. It blends online e-learning with guidance of experienced coach and hands-on experience in our lab.

CROZ team developed this course. It is designed for z/OS system programmers, middleware on z/OS system programmers, CICS system programmers, IMS system programmers and developers who wants to get deep knowledge about z/OS connect as one of key enablers for API Economy on z/OS platform.

Course structure is tailored in such way to cover theoretical facts around z/OS connect purpose and architecture, real use cases for z/OS connect implementation management of z/OS Connect followed by lab exercises, quizzes and interactive virtual class in order to address all questions raised during the course.
